Are you ready to transform your movement sessions from mundane to magical? Ok, I can’t really promise that, but whether you're a seasoned fitness enthusiast or just starting your journey to a healthier lifestyle, having the right tools can make all the difference in how you feel during and after your movement sessions.

From the clothes you wear to the equipment you use, every choice you make can impact your mood, energy levels, and overall satisfaction with your movement routine. Your movement journey is uniquely yours, and while these essentials enhance my commitment to movement, everyone’s needs and preferences are different. So, take the time to experiment and find what works best for you in sticking to a routine that ultimately  brings you joy.

Here are my six essentials that I swear by to boost my mood and energy during movement:

  1. Sweaty Betty Leggings: There's something about slipping into a pair of Sweaty Betty leggings that instantly boosts my confidence and motivation to crush my movement session. With their flattering fit, supportive fabric, and stylish designs, these leggings are a game-changer for both performance and aesthetics.

  2. Alo Moves App: When it comes to movement apps, Alo Moves reigns supreme in my book. With a diverse range of yoga, fitness, and meditation classes led by world-class instructors, this app offers something for everyone, no matter your fitness level or preferred movement style. Plus, the convenience of being able to access high-quality workouts anytime, anywhere is unbeatable.

  3. ‘On’ Running Shoes: A good pair of running shoes can make or break your movement session, which is why I swear by On Running shoes. Not only are they stylish and comfortable, but they also provide the support and cushioning I need without sacrificing performance. When I'm hitting the pavement my On shoes have my back (or rather, my feet).

  4. Humantra Electrolytes: After a tough movement session, replenishing electrolytes is essential for recovery and rehydration. That's where Humantra comes in. Their electrolyte supplements are formulated with the perfect balance of minerals to help me recover faster, reduce muscle soreness, and stay hydrated, so I can bounce back stronger for my next movement session. Whatever brand you choose, look for plant-based, sugar free and with 100% natural ingredients so that it does not disrupt your gut or add bad calories into your diet.

  5. Wireless Earbuds: Nothing gets me pumped up for a movement session like a killer playlist or an engaging podcast. That's why I always make sure to bring along my trusty wireless earbuds. Whether I'm jamming out to my favourite tunes or getting lost in a thought-provoking podcast, having my own personal soundtrack enhances the enjoyment of my movement sessions and helps me stay focused and motivated. I can go from serious ‘the rest is politics’ to silly ‘smartless’ depending on my moods and when I really need that extra boost I’ll pop on our very own weareminimondo playlist.

  6. Resistance Bands: Incorporating resistance bands into my movement sessions has been a game-changer for targeting specific muscle groups and adding variety to my routine. Whether I'm doing strength training exercises or stretching out tight muscles, these versatile bands provide the extra resistance I need to take my movement sessions to the next level.

By finding what works to help you stick to an effective movement routine, you can elevate your sessions, boost your mood, and unleash your full potential. Remember, investing in yourself and your health is always worth it, so don't hesitate to treat yourself to the tools and resources that will help you thrive on your movement journey.
